Who are we?
More than 55 years ago, Rob Peetoom opened his first salon in Santpoort-Zuid, the Netherlands. Today, the Rob Peetoom name shines on storefronts in cities like Amsterdam, The Hague, Eindhoven, Haarlem, Rotterdam, Utrecht, as well as in Bali (Indonesia) and New York (USA). In the Netherlands alone, we have over 250 employees.

Our headquarters is located in Halfweg, where departments such as the Academy, Finance, HR and Marketing are based. Our company culture is informal, yet we pride ourselves on professionalism, creativity and expertise.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the (Dutch-speaking) finance team and foster a professional, efficient work environment;

• Collaborate internationally with our salons in the US and Indonesia;

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports;

• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and liquidity planning;

• Analyze financial results and advise the Management Team on risks and opportunities;

• Improve and automate financial processes;

• Oversee our IT specialist and manage new feature implementation in our salon software “Zenoti”;

• Act as point of contact for external stakeholders including auditors, banks and tax advisors;

• Ensure compliance with tax legislation and internal controls.

What you bring

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial management role;

• Strong analytical and numerical skills;

• Proven leadership experience;

• Affinity with IT and experience with financial systems (ERP/BI tools);

• A proactive mindset focused on process improvement and innovation;

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial data.

• Full professional proficiency in Dutch (written and spoken) is required.
