As the Curls, Waves, and Coils Hair Specialist, you'll be an expert in textured hair, providing exceptional styling, treatments, and care for clients with curly, wavy, and especially high formation coiled hair types. Your advanced knowledge and skills will ensure that every client leaves with healthy, beautiful hair that suits their unique style. Your role is crucial in providing specialized services, offering consultations, and educating clients on hair care routines. If you are passionate about textured hair and have advanced experience in the field, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Licensed: Must have a cosmetology license in the state of New York and advanced salon experience with a focus on textured hair.

Specialized Services: Provide specialized services for curly and coiled hair. Let’s discuss your service offerings, which can include cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments. We can customize our services to ensure we have the right offerings, descriptions, and pricing to cater to your clients based on your experience.
Client Satisfaction: Ensure every client leaves with a smile by conducting thorough consultations to understand their needs, recommending the perfect services and products, and delivering exceptional customer service from the moment they walk in until they step out with fabulous hair.
Sales & Promotions: Demonstrate a commercial mindset with motivation to sell, inform clients, and boost seasonal promotions. Use the tools at your disposal like referral program and business cards to build your book.
Salon Upkeep: the salon is our home. Ensure the salon is kept neat and clean, adhering to high standards of customer experience.
Education: Demonstrate an interest in sharing your scraft and support other stylists in learning about textured hair.
Efficiency Support: Maintain a smoothly run salon environment.
Flexible Availability: Available at least 3 days a week. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and days off for salon events.
Customer Service: No matter how challenging the client, let’s talk about it after we have worked our magic to make them feel their best.
Organizational Skills: Use the Zenoti booking software app to its full potential and exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills.
Mentorship Mentality: foster a good relationship with your team especially the talented assistants. Mentor them, coach them, take them under your wing and work together to help them excell and grow.
